JEE Advanced is the second step after clearing the JEE Main examination and it will help candidates seeking admission to various technological institutions to pursue their career in the field of Science and Technology. Through this examination you can apply for admission to various undergraduate courses i.e. B. Tech, B. Arch, B.S. and integrated courses.

JEE Advanced 2022 Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationality

  • - Candidate whether Indian or Foreign all are eligible to apply for this examination.

  • Age Limit

  • - Candidate must have born on or after 1st October 1992. For the PWD/SC/ST Category. Relaxation to candidates having PWD/SC/ST categories for five years.

  • Total Number of Attempts

  • - Candidates can appear in JEE Advanced twice in a single year.

  • Qualification

  • - Candidates who have passed their class 12th examination in year 2019 or appearing for 12th class examination in year 2022.

    - Candidates must have secured 75% or more for General Category while 65% marks in case of SC/ST/PWD candidates.

  • JEE Main Exam Performance

  • - Candidates must have cleared the JEE-Main examination among the top 2 lakh candidates in order to be eligible for JEE Advanced 2022

Steps to be followed to appear in JEE Advanced 2022

  • Go to the official website https://jeeadv.ac.in/

  • Read the Brochure carefully.

  • Look at the important dates which are also mentioned above.

  • Now fill up the form.

  • Enter your valid details.

  • Upload class Xth Or Birth Certificate, XIIth certificate, and Category Certificate(if applicable.)

  • Upload your Photo and signature in the respective box.

  • Complete and submit the form.

JEE Advanced 2022 Exam Pattern

  • Mode of Examination: Online or Computer based test

  • Number of Papers: There will be two papers and both of them will be compulsory and conducted at the same day.

  • Duration of Exam: Each exam will be of 3 hours only.

  • Types of Problems: Multiple choice problems(MCQs)

  • Total number of Problems: 54

  • Subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

  • Marking Scheme: Every incorrect answer will deduct your marks. The negative marking will be for only few problems.

  • Medium of Exam: Hindi and English
